Ask any designer for the single best way to make a huge design impact and they’ll tell you: Paint. A fact you’ll know to be true, if you’ve ever painted over that color landlords call white, but looks more like someone with a pack-a-day habit took up residence in the home. Once you’re convinced that paint is the answer, (trust me, it’s always the answer!) you need to choose the color. This is the hard part. Even neutrals are difficult. In my book, there is nothing worse than trying to choose a shade of gray.
